I lost a small sliver of tooth about 2 weeks before I was due for my regular checkup. It wasn't bothering me other than a roughness on my tongue when I touched it.
So today was the big day.
Turns out it was small piece of filling that I lost and I had forgotten was a filled tooth.
It was fixed in 5 mins, no numbing needed. In a way I am glad it was an old filling rather than a bit of actual tooth that had gone bad.
The rest of my mouth was fine.

Thing I miss about Twitter when it was less Nazi.
Local council had/has a presence & one time tweeted a picture of a street light that had fallen to a 45 degree angle overhanging a path.
It was acknowledged & dealt with.
Today I want to complain about a terrible footbridge repair. There were lots of pot holes on it and it was painted up with arrows to show the holes. Today I saw a fucking mess with filler all over the path eroded out the holes in less that 3 days. I phoned, waiting a call back.

Since I started cycling a month ago after a 12 month hiatus I keep a keen eye on the weather, I am mostly looking at wind speeds. I have a full set of waterproofs so if it rains meh BUT wind is another level. Especially as the places I go locally are quite hilly.
My parents house is 5 miles at the other end of town and it is very uphill. The upside is that it is all downhill on the way back.
Anyways I am about 80% "bike fit" at the moment another couple of weeks and I shall be proper up to speed

CSI Tayside may be slow but they get there in the end.
